Looking for Answers in Cape Refuge

I’m a fan of Christian fiction since it usually is free of foul language and pornographic scenes.  It’s always fun to be introduced to a new writer who fits this category.  One of my sisters gave me a two in one book by Terri Blackstock.  I noticed it the other day and read both of the books.  I’ll be looking for more books by Terri Blackstock.  There are four in the series.

Cape Refuge begins at the City Council meeting with Blair and Morgan waiting for their parents to show up.  The bed and breakfast they run is on the chopping block since they catered to ex felons and any down and out person wanting to turn their lives around with the help of Christ.  But their parents never show up and the city council votes to shut them down.

Blair and Morgan’s parents have the best reason on earth for not showing up.  They’ve been murdered in the church they run down by the dock.  Things for the sisters only get worse when Jonathon, Morgan’s new husband, is arrested for the murders.  Morgan faces a crisis of her faith while Blair focuses on finding the real culprit.

Blair and the chief of police Matthew Cade soon begin to work together to solve the mystery.  Sadie, a runaway, holds the key to the mystery even though she doesn’t know it.  Will she be able to survive the storm and help Morgan’s shaken faith?  What will happen to the bed and breakfast?

It’s a great suspenseful story with clues and intrigue.  There are ins and outs and a million clues.  I admit that I did figure out who was responsible for the murders just shortly before the author revealed the bad guys in all their glory.  I’d recommend this story to anyone who likes a good mystery.
